A house that keeps a family’s letters has one obligation above all others: to keep them. This is what we hold, why we hold it, and how you take it back.

What the house holds

When you join, the house keeps the records you choose to give it: the people in your circle and what you note about them, the moments you are holding, gifts given and received, letters and briefs written, tradition entries, run-sheets, guest notes and time capsules.

We also hold the ordinary technical record of your account — your name, your email address and the dates on which you used the house.

Why it is held

For one reason: so that the next celebration is easier, more personal and more yours. Your records are used to brief you, to write in your voice, and to remember what you have already told us. Nothing else.

Private to your account

Every record you create is private to your account. It is not visible to other members, it is not published, and it is not indexed by search engines — our robots file closes the member rooms to crawlers.

If you share a letter, the person holding the link can read that one letter and nothing else. The link is long, random, and can be revoked by deleting the letter.

What we never do

These are not preferences. They are the terms on which the house operates.

  • We do not sell your data, and we have no advertising business.
  • There is no marketplace, no affiliate arrangement and no data brokerage.
  • We do not run third-party advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.
  • We do not collect passports, identity documents or signed agreements.
  • We do not ask a guest for anything beyond a name, dietary needs and a note.
AI, and what that means for your data

The five voices are AI. When you put a question to one of them, the context the house holds about you — the parts relevant to the question — is used to compose the answer. Generated letters and briefs are disclosed as AI-assisted wherever they appear.

No voice will invent an availability, a price, a venue, a vintage or a provenance, and no generated text is sent anywhere without your review.

How long it is kept

For as long as your membership is open. The Heirloom tier keeps the archive permanently, as its name suggests. On any other tier, closing your account closes the record with it.

Your rights

You can export everything the house holds about you, and you can purge it, from account settings — without writing to anyone and without a waiting period. A purge removes your records from the house and is logged so that we can confirm it happened.

You may also ask what is held, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for the account itself to be closed.

Who can see it

You, and the household members you share an account with. Our own staff do not read member records for interest or for training. Platform administrators may access records only to operate and support the service.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects what is held or why, we will say so plainly on this page and date the revision above.
